The ISLYE program (“International Soft Landing for Young Entrepreneurs”) offers you the chance to visit the start-up incubators of all our partner universities and to participate in the respective entrepreneurship programs.

Diogo Macedo and Marta Sampaio travelled from Braga to Leipzig on 14-19 April 2025. They met with local entrepreneurs and start-up teams.
OmniumAI is a food engineering AI startup.
On 18-21 March 2025, Nils Walper visited Wrocław to discuss and pitch his business idea. He is the founder of “Walper Education”, a start-up in the field of mathematics tutoring.
At the University of Wrocław he met local entrepreneurships initiatives and learnt about financing strategies.
From the University of Padua, students Davide Bicego and Stefano Polese had the opportunity to travel to the University of Graz in February 2025 and learn how to launch a start-up.
They were able to explore further how to launch a start-up, network with experts and get to know Graz.
Researchers from the Smart Farming Lab explored the potential of drone technology in agriculture in the land of the Prosecco wine in October 2024.
They had the chance to meet local startups dealing with drones as well as experts in viticulture and enology research.
In September 2024, Pablo Gómez-Puig Garach and Javier Fernández Velasco from Granada visited the SMILE start-up initiative of the International SEPT Competence Centre at Leipzig University with their project “GeoCasetas”.
The “GeoCasetas” app is designed to enable interested parties to quickly find the right locations and connections at events using geolocalisation.
Alexia Perez Miviere, founder of the “Alegria” start-up, had an immersive and collaborative week in June 2022 at Leipzig University. She met local initiatives, presented her project and met potential buyers.
“Alegria” enables interested customers to bury beloved pets or even people after their death in an urn from which a tree or other plant grows as a symbol of remembrance.
Padua’s entrepreneur Héctor García visited Leipzig University in May 2022 and attended various meetings with local start-ups from the SMILE ecosystem.
He is the founder of the project “Weavez”, which aims to help students learn about and exchange information on local events and to engage in community building at their university locations.
In March 2022, Felicia Gruner and Jérémy Villevieille visited Leipzig and met local start-ups to discuss topics such as production, target groups, marketing, sales, financing/crowdfunding, and possible synergies.
They are the founders of worm composter “natuco”.
4 members of the start-up “Saige Analytics” visited the University of Lyon 1 as part of Arqus ISLYE mobility.
From 29 November to 3 December 2021, they had workshops on 3D printing and product design, discussions with AI researchers and other entrepreneurs, and visited the city.
